Sean and Ron Stochl are dedicated community leaders and public servants from Fox Lake, IL, with a deep passion for fostering growth and improving the quality of life for all residents. Sean is married to his wife, Erin, and together they are raising their children with the same vision for a prosperous future. As a father, Sean is committed to ensuring that Fox Lake becomes a place where children can grow up surrounded by opportunity and a vibrant community. As a professor at Judson University and various community colleges, as well as a coach in high school and college sports, Sean’s deep-rooted connection to education and athletics has shaped his desire to see Fox Lake grow and thrive.

Sean's vision is also partly shaped by the example of his father, Ron Stochl, a long-time Fox Lake resident and dedicated community leader. Ron coached nearly every youth sports team for his sons—Sean, Andy, and Scottie—and was instrumental in instilling a strong sense of community and teamwork. Along with his wife, Chris, Ron purchased Grand Avenue Hair Club 35 years ago. Later to retire from Lube Oils in Waukegan in 2012. In a continued effort to support the town, Ron and Sean opened Grand Avenue Driving School in Fox Lake, providing much-needed services to local residents. Ron has dedicated his life to Fox Lake and is now seeking re-election for his fourth term as trustee.

The Stochl family’s dedication to Fox Lake is second to none. If Elected Mayor Sean is determined to carry that dedication forward. Having spent much of his life near the water and enjoying recreational activities in surrounding towns, Sean has seen firsthand what other communities have achieved. From his childhood to the present, he has watched Fox Lake miss countless opportunities. Now, more than ever, Sean is committed to turning things around—to restore Fox Lake to its full potential and ensure it becomes a place where families can not only visit but build their future. Together, Sean and his father, Ron, are driven to bring Fox Lake the leadership and vision it deserves.
